This garden was completely barren. Based in Kensal Rise, this busy Mother wanted a tranquil space with minimum ongoing maintenance. We replaced the lawn which was suffering with the highest quality artificial turf and built beds from sleepers to fit in with the already existing patio area. In order to give privacy and noise barrier from the railway tracks, we planted silver birch which stood out beautifully against the black backdrop of the fencing. Minimum planting of ferns helped soften the borders. Black planters were then set out in paving area and planted with bamboo to give additional barrier.
